Privacy Policy for Spurbuch

In short

Spurbuch works without an account and without our own server. Everything you enter stays on your device. We do not collect usage data and use no tracking, advertising or analytics.

Data processed by the app

In Spurbuch you enter details about your vehicles and trips: vehicle name and licence plate, odometer readings, date, start and end time of a trip, start and destination address as text, the purpose of the trip, for business trips the business partner and the reason, and notes. If you change or cancel a closed trip, the app saves the old and the new value, the time and your reason in the change log. Spurbuch does not determine your location: addresses are only the text you type yourself.

This data is stored only locally in the app’s protected storage on your device. It is not transmitted to us or to third parties. Depending on your device settings it is part of your device backup (iCloud or computer), which Apple or you manage.

Sharing

If you export your trips as a file and send it by email, message or through the share menu, this happens through the app you choose (e.g. Mail). You decide on recipients and content. You are responsible for passing on data about third parties (e.g. names of business partners).

Permissions

Spurbuch needs no permissions: no location, no camera, no contacts.

Purchases

In-app purchases are handled entirely by Apple. We receive no payment or personal data. Apple’s privacy policy applies: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/

Email support

If you email us, we process your address and your message only to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). We delete emails once they are no longer needed, at the latest after statutory retention periods.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR) and the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. As your app data is only on your device, you can export it there at any time or remove it by deleting the app.

Changes

We update this policy when the app or the law changes. The version shown in the app applies.
