Privacy Policy for Schichtblatt

In short

Schichtblatt works without an account and without our own server. Everything you enter stays on your device. We do not collect usage data and use no tracking, advertising or analytics.

Data processed by the app

In Schichtblatt you enter your shift rhythms and shift types, exceptions such as swaps, leave or sickness, notes, extra hours and your settings for target hours, premiums and hourly wage. If you create rhythms for other people (e.g. your partner or a colleague), you store their names and shifts. The app uses this to calculate the calendar and the hours account.

This data is stored only locally in the app’s protected storage on your device. It is not transmitted to us or to third parties. Depending on your device settings it is part of your device backup (iCloud or computer), which Apple or you manage.

Sharing

When you send a PDF month plan or a CSV file through the share menu, this happens through the app you choose (e.g. Mail). You decide on recipients and content. You are responsible for sharing data of third parties (e.g. other people’s shifts).

Permissions

Only when you choose “Add to iOS Calendar” does Schichtblatt ask for access to your calendars. The app then creates its own “Schichtblatt” calendar and writes your shifts only there; other calendar entries are not analysed or transmitted. If your calendar is stored in iCloud or another account, iOS syncs the entries through that service. You can revoke the permission at any time in iOS Settings.

Purchases and subscriptions

The basic features of Schichtblatt are free. You can unlock Pro with a subscription (yearly or monthly) or with a one-time purchase (Lifetime). All purchases are handled entirely through your Apple Account and the App Store; Apple’s terms apply, in particular the Standard License Agreement (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. We receive no payment or personal data, only the purchase confirmation signed by Apple, which the app checks on your device to unlock Pro. Apple’s privacy policy applies: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/

• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically for the chosen period at the price shown unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to your Apple Account.
• Cancellation: anytime in your Apple Account settings under “Subscriptions” (in the app also via “Manage subscriptions”). Pro stays active until the end of the paid period; after that the free version applies again and your data is kept.
• Free trial: For new subscribers, the yearly subscription starts with a free trial of 7 days. If you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, you won’t be charged; otherwise it automatically converts into the paid yearly subscription. The trial is available once per Apple Account.
• Lifetime: a one-time purchase with no renewal and no further costs.
• Refunds are handled by Apple only (https://reportaproblem.apple.com).

Email support

If you email us, we process your address and message only to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR) and delete them when no longer needed.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR) and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Since your app data stays on your device, you can change, export or delete it there at any time.

Changes

We update this policy when the app or the legal situation changes. The version shown in the app applies.
